About

Passion. Experience. Diligence.

History

Jeff earned his undergraduate degree in 1982. Job prospects were scarce at the time in his discipline of study when an offer to enter the trade of elevator constructor arose a few months after graduation. The thought of continuing his personal development by learning a valuable trade skill set combined with a potential career opportunity was immensely appealing. After six years in the trade and the start of his family he focused on his longtime personal goal of becoming a lawyer. While maintaining a full time job as an elevator service mechanic in downtown Boston, he decided to enter New England Law as an evening student. Jeff’s passion for the study of law earned him designation as a New England Scholar Awarded recipient and cum laude graduate. After law school Jeff spent several more years in the trade as both a mechanic and an executive. When the opportunity presented itself to start his own full time law practice, he focused on the opportunity and founded the Law Office of Jeffrey P. Curtis. A continuing commitment to the study and practice of law is a fulfilling and rewarding experience for him and is the foundation of the advocacy, counsel and value his clients deserve.
